Before starting a custom cannabis packaging project, most buyers want to understand structure options, customization flexibility, sample support, and production expectations.
1. Do you print directly onto the mylar bags?
Yes! We can print directly onto mylar bags, and can print on the front, back, and bottom gusset. We can even print the interior of your mylar bag.
2. Are there any costs for plates or initial setup?
With small batch of custom bags, we produce these bags digitally, so that no plates are required. However, for larger orders, such as quantities at 10k pieces or over 10k pieces, we do have the ability to produce bags flexographically. When producing flexographically, there are one-time plate fees for each color used.
3. Can the custom mylar bags be sealed with heat?
All our mylar bags can be heat-sealed. Our standard custom mylar bags feature tear notches to be used specifically for heat-sealed bags. Once your bag is heat-sealed and on the market, the customer can rip open the heat from the tear notches. From there, they can access the contents from the resealable zipper.
4. Can I purchase child-resistant mylar bags?
Yes! To stay compliant in the majority of the United States, you can easily purchase the Mylar bags feature a child-resistant (CR) zipper. These various types of secure zippers are common throughout the cannabis industry.
5. What sizes and structures are available for custom cannabis vape boxes?
At Wejoy Packaging, all cannabis vape boxes are fully customized to your product. Whether you need a single vape cartridge box, disposable vape pen packaging, battery kit box, or multi-pack set, we tailor the size to your exact device, blister, or tray.
6. Are there minimum order quantities (MOQs) for custom cannabis vape boxes?
Yes. For custom-printed cannabis vape boxes, the typical MOQ is around 1,000–3,000 pieces per size/design, depending on the box type, material, and finish.
For some larger-format or simple printed boxes, smaller trial runs may be possible. Share your box style, size, and finish requirements, and our team will confirm the most cost-effective MOQ for you.
7. What customization options are available, such as finishes, embossing, or foil accents?
